A series of personalised sessions with Marie as your Wellbeing Ally offers a safe, confidential space to explore mindset, movement, and lifestyle changes that help you feel lighter, calmer, and more connected to yourself and what you value most. Together weave the pillars of wellbeing into a science backed plan designed around your goals and your pace. Marie will walk alongside you with patience and encouragement, offering science-backed tools and lived experience so you can build sustainable rhythms and rituals, strengthen resilience, improve sleep and energy, reduce stress, and reclaim the mana of your health and happiness.

Lasting wellbeing doesn’t come from quick fixes — it grows from the habits we return to daily. Behaviour Change Science calls this habit looping: a cue, a routine, and a reward. Follow up texts, emails, recommendations, & check-ins where requested. This package is valid for 2 months only (from first session), as it’s intended to support focused and committed inquiry within a specific timeframe. We can of course continue beyond these 3 sessions.
As your coach Marie will place herself at your service, to be a mirror for you, to support and champion you, as you design and implement you own ‘Kete’, toolbox for on-going wellbeing beyond the Coaching Journey.
Breathe and Balance from ‘THE CHAIR’
Breathe and Balance can begin from a chair as mobility is developed over time or across a session. Wheel Chair friends also benefit from bespoke Breathe and Balance & the Wellbeing Coaching Package.

Classes and one-to-one
These weekly practices offer the mind, heart and body a regular RESET. It’s an opportunity to release build-up of tension, strengthen self-regulating techniques, build back-up energy stores, and rejuvenate the nervous system. Theyre a good add-on to your week so that you can feel more whole.

You choose how soft or how dynamic you would like to work. You may be seeking a ‘huff-puff’ or a ‘slow-down and recover’ practice. What every you are looking for we can develop together. At the heart of bespoke One-to-One’s is your ‘why’ and where you want to go in health and wellbeing. Book private time with Marie at MINDs in Moerewa or take time out in nature and enjoy your private session in the Ngahere (forest), Te Taha Moana (Oceanside), on your own Whenua (land) or at your Whare (home).
Travel time is added $1.50 per kilometre.

A soft all-inclusive yet fluid sequence of mindful movement (strengthening & opening the body in every direction) and breathwork before guided deep rest but a softer all-inclusive session.

Dynamic Wednesday afternoons

Will suit those who can take a little weight into the knees a wrists for a wee time and move from the floor to standing comfortably.

Groups & Retreatments
The group programmes with Breathe and Balance with Marie Baker are a wonderful blend of restorative gentle movement, simple breath work and guided deep rest, designed to help your body and mind restore and rebalance. You will have an individual experience within a group environment, and no previous yoga or breathwork experience is necessary. Marie is open to collaborating with iwi and other organisations for workshops, trainings, event experiences, and retreats.

HEALING MOVEMENT Trauma Informed Groups with Marie
The focus here is creating a confidential and safe space for wāhine to heal in body, mind, heart and wairua while also developing mindfulness and self-regulating techniques as they manage symptoms of trauma: sexual, mental, emotional and physical.

Deb McMillan, Cognitive Behaviour Therapist of CBT Culture accompanies the group to support and reflect each session. Deb has over 25 years’ experience working with wāhine within correctional facilities, group and one-to-one. Ideally wāhine will be working with a Psychologist, Counsellor, Social Worker or Health Improvement Practitioner in the community.
All the principles of Breathe and Balance are applied to the session and good time is set for Guided Deep Rest. Over the 10 weeks of the program we un-flood our system of stress hormones. Things begin to self-repair: sleep improves, fatigue subsides, inflammation and pain reduces, immunity is boosted, the gut starts to heal and digestion improves, mood lifts, brain-fog lifts, energy returns, clarity increases and our creative capacity and readiness to move toward the level of health and vitality we dream of.
Join for a cup of tea and shared kai as you become ready. Allow your readiness to emerge gradually as most of us that join this group are cautious in developing new bonds. But as we do, we find sincere patience and understanding, open appreciation of each other and unconditional positive regard. Being part of a group with similar experience can be deeply therapeutic and support deeper healing and recovery. In scientific terms, it’s called the group effect.
These are closed, confidential groups, and this offering is also available to community initiatives.

Mindful movement, breathing and deep rest assist in relaxing and decompressing the brain, body and heart and turning on creative capacity and readiness before the delivery of a workshop or project.
